The fuller derivation this dataset is chartered to grow into (not yet what the figures above are; they are each source's own published figure as read): the published rate of every cleaning company that publishes one, normalised to a common unit (per square foot per clean, per hour, per visit, per month at a stated frequency) and split by service - recurring office, medical, retail, post-construction, strip-and-wax - and by metro; the derivations nobody publishes are the MEDIAN and spread per metro per service, the count and share of companies that publish a rate at all versus quote-only, the premium a medical or regulated facility carries over a plain office, and the movement of each metro's median between reads, all sitting above the wage floor the labour statistics set; construction cleaning is read by PHASE (rough, final, touch-up) per square foot and, in GB, per property size for an after-builders clean, so the post-construction premium over a recurring office clean is a derived ratio no contractor states
